Geez, so much wax!!

Wood floors i understand you cant put down a lot of liquid like vct. If the stripper begins to dry out it is 10 x harder to remove.I have removed 30 coats of wax off vct. You need a strong stripper and more dwell time. The key is to break it down to no more than 300 feet at a time. Keep it wet. Then wet vac before it begins to dry. Then I will do a follow up scrub ( no stripper) over the stripped area. The clean neutralized water with a scrub removes everytime any left over wax buildup. Only 50 plus coats have i had to apply stripper twice. 90 percent of the time one strip followed by immediately a clean water scrub does the job. Both done with swing machines.

I don't think you've ever had to stop mid job.. thus floor had to be terrible plus the distance... Man.. God bless you.. wax ain't no joke

I only use oil base, never had any call backs or issues. I think water base is just too make life more convenient for the installer and low voc. Oil base sits flatter and has better working time and lasts longer.

What poly product do you use ?

Before it looks like you did more carpet then flooring. Now it looks like you do more flooring than carpet! Just observation I could be wrong.

Can you change colors with a screen and recoat?

Courtney why after putting first coat aqua pro down did you have to redo the floor it seems as if you had to screen it again? Also why not a square scrub seems easier than swing machine to just go forward and back and way less hand edging ?

Try a dehumidifier to control the atmosphere. it's probably the humidity i did a job before, and a dehumidifier worked to speed up the drying it was very humid

Looking nice! Question: We have a small concrete pad and walkway by our garage at our cottage which needs cleaning from time to time. Most of the grime is due to the oak trees on the property and I was curious if I could get away with a swing machine and a brush attachment. Will the brush be enough, or should I go for a pad? - My machine is an older Clarke Floor Maintainer FM-17 with the original wood brush.
